JACKSONVILLE SCORE CHAPTER The Jacksonville Florida Chapter of SCORE was founded over 20 years ago, and now has approximately 50 counselors experienced in a wide variety of businesses and in all phases of small business start-up and operations. The chapter counsels over 1000 new clients annually in business types of nearly anything you can imagine. Chapter Meeting The SCORE office is located in the U.S. Small Business Administration offices, at the address in the left sidebar, which facilitates working closely with the local SBA groups. NATIONAL SCORE ASSOCIATION SCORE "Counselors to America's Small Business" is a nonprofit association dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation, growth and success of small business nationwide. SCORE is a resource partner with the U.S Small Business Administration (SBA). SCORE has 389 chapters in locations throughout the United States and its territories, with 10,500 volunteers nationwide. Local chapters provide free counseling and low-cost workshops in their communities. Both working and retired executives and business owners donate their time and expertise as business counselors.
